In 2012 the Squadron has seen staff participate in Nijmegen for the first time in recent history, have its first Cadet Warrent Officer appointed in 18 years and will see an Flt LT Michael Toulouse RAFVR(T) take command of the Squadron for the first time in 6 years. As well as taking part in the ATC sunday parade at newly created 171 Christchurch Sqn, have a Tour of RNAS Yeovilton, undertake its own Easter camp at Jersey, have cadets and staff attending Summer Camp at RAF Wittering. |

The squadron re-opened 24th June 2016 following a short temporary closure for reorganisation. Since then the squadron has grown and continues to attract adventurous young people.
