The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is the British Army Officer Training Academy, the equivalent to the Britannia Royal Naval College and the RAF College Cranwell.

Upon commissioning from the 44 week course at Sandhurst, officer cadets will be promoted to OF-1, or Second Lieutenant. Although they have officer in their name, they are equivalent to the rank of Private, therefore have no power over people unless explicitly given the power for an activity. You can apply for Sandhurst at the age of 17 years and 9 months, up until 28 years and 11 months.

Notable graduates of Sandhurst are: Prince Harry and Prince William.
